What were you doing before you signed up for our course?
He worked as a Helpdesk team coordinator and computer technician in a service company, until, due to some bad operations in the Madrid headquarters, the company stopped paying and ended up closing down.
What motivated you to start the course?
First of all, I thought that after so many years without the company offering us training, it was interesting to return to the labor market updating my knowledge, especially taking into account that in the IT and programming field, innovation is constant.
Now that you have finished, what did you find most difficult during the course?
There were a few moments at the beginning of a couple of modules where we were following instructions but didn’t know exactly what we were doing, but then it all became clearer.
Do you think our methodology has worked?
I personally have done very well with it and would obviously recommend it.
What would make you recommend Ubiqum?
It has been interesting the content, the explanations, the real internships, the interviews, the contacts with other colleagues and/or companies and the level of possibilities that Ubiqum offers to help you improve your professional and personal profile when looking for a job again.
Talking about your new job, what do you think, are you happy?
I start in a few days so I can not yet assess how it is going, although the first interview and the contact made by the people responsible for my current job, has been correct and effective.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to make a change in their professional life?
Any change implies an adaptation to the new, an effort to learn and improve. People who want to make a professional change voluntarily or who find themselves unemployed through no fault of their own, should not be afraid; they should be positive, move fast, look for options, training courses, send CVs, use social networks and contacts to try to open and learn about other avenues for the future. He should always fight for his goals and never stand still. It should be a time to face with enthusiasm and desire new challenges that make you improve.
Finally, a must-ask question. How would you describe your experience at Ubiqum.
It has been five months of intense work, but with good colleagues, mentors who made an effort to make us understand everything and a very nice working space, in a Coworking, where many times we had some pleasant surprises. Also the coaching sessions have been very interesting.
