What were you doing before you signed up for our course?
Before taking the Java Web Developer course at Ubiqum Code Academy, I was working in customer service and learning to program in my spare time.
What was your main concern before you started?
I was concerned that I didn’t have enough programming knowledge and experience to take the course. However, since Ubiqum has no prerequisites, that didn’t matter.
Why did you think Ubiqum Code Academy was the best choice?
I chose Ubiqum over all the other opportunities because of the price and what they offered in terms of content. It was also the longest program with the most in-depth learning compared to other courses on the market. No other course offered 5 months of intensive learning.
Do you consider that our “Learning by doing” methodology has been effective?
Yes, without a doubt. It was great to take on projects that a real Developer would be working on and carry them out autonomously. That said, throughout, we always had the tutors on hand to help us when we got stuck. As the course is set up as a real work experience, you quickly get used to working as a Developer would, and this is very motivating.
Would you recommend Ubiqum? And if so, why?
Yes, of course. I would recommend Ubiqum and the Web Developer with Java course for everything I have learned and the job offers I have received. It is a great opportunity to experience the daily routine of a Programmer and gives you the basis to continue learning and growing as a professional. It has been a very good and rewarding experience, and I appreciate it very much, thank you!
