The academy provides intensive professional training in Web and Mobile Development, as well as Data Analysis and Business Intelligence. Our methodology is project-based (learning by doing), aimed at enabling students to start or enhance their careers in the tech sector.

2. Enrollment and Contracting Process

Enrollment in any Ubiqum course requires express acceptance of: (i) the registration form; (ii) the personalized quote, which includes the total course price, payment methods, and applicable promotions; and (iii) these General Terms and Conditions. This joint acceptance constitutes the formal training services contract between the Student and Ubiqum.

3. General Course Description

Courses are delivered fully online through the Ubiqum-Learn platform. The curriculum is divided into several Modules, which must be completed within the agreed timeframes. Access to content requires a personal, confidential, and non-transferable login key, which must be kept secure by the Student.

3.1 Content Access and Ownership

Each student will have individual access to course content hosted on Ubiqum’s platform. These materials are the exclusive property of Ubiqum and are protected by intellectual property laws. Reproduction, distribution, or third-party sharing is strictly prohibited. Access is strictly for the student’s personal and academic use during the course.

3.2 Academic Mentorship

Each student will be assigned a personal mentor who will guide, monitor, and evaluate their progress. Mentor meetings are mandatory and part of the personalized schedule. While the number of sessions is unlimited, time must be used reasonably. In cases of inefficient use, the mentor may restrict future sessions to help refocus the student’s learning strategy.

3.3 Schedule and Flexibility

Ubiqum courses do not follow fixed cohort start or end dates. Each student agrees on a personal schedule with their mentor, including start dates, submission deadlines, and planned meetings. The flexible methodology allows the student to adapt their study pace to personal or professional circumstances.

3.4 Recovery and Fast Progression

Students who fall behind may catch up by purchasing additional support hours. Conversely, students progressing faster may request supplementary tasks or early issuance of their course certificate.

3.5 Job Placement

The course includes a professional development component, where students receive employability training and support from specialized career advisors. This includes CV preparation, LinkedIn profile development, personal pitch training, job searching, and interview follow-up.

4. Student Commitments and Obligations

The student agrees to dedicate the necessary effort to complete the course, submit assignments on time and quality, attend all mentor meetings, and participate in employability activities when applicable. Ubiqum will review student performance monthly. Repeated breaches may result in early contract termination.

5. Payment Conditions

Payment terms are those outlined in the personalized quote. Failure to comply with payment obligations entitles Ubiqum to suspend the student’s access and terminate the contract. Legal interest will apply in cases of default.

6. Course Certification

Students may request a completion certificate at the end of the course, provided that all modules have been successfully completed. The certificate will reflect the level of progress achieved.

7. Withdrawal and Termination of Contract

Students may withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of online registration. Voluntary withdrawal after this period does not entitle a refund. Notice of withdrawal must be given at least 15 days in advance. Ubiqum may terminate the contract due to repeated non-compliance or serious disciplinary reasons.

8. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality

All course materials are the exclusive intellectual property of Ubiqum. Use is limited to the enrolled student. Reproduction, distribution, transformation, or public communication is strictly prohibited. This obligation remains in force even after the course has ended.

9. Data Protection

Ubiqum complies with current data protection laws (LOPD and GDPR). Student data will be used solely to provide contracted services and for occasional marketing communications. Students may exercise their data rights by email, post, or in person.

10. Complaints

Official complaint forms are available at Ubiqum’s info@ubiqum.com upon request.

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

This contract is governed by Spanish law. For any disputes arising from this agreement, both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barcelona, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction.
